Know the enemy
You can't swat your way out of a breeding site
Flies and mosquitoes are population problems, not individual ones. Somewhere near your home is a nursery: a blocked gutter holding water, a compost bin or wheelie bin lid, pet waste, a birdbath, a saucer under a pot plant. As long as it operates, every insect you swat is instantly replaced.
Effective control starts by shutting the nurseries down, then treating the surfaces where adults rest — so numbers actually fall instead of just rotating. It's the difference between a fly-swatter summer and actually enjoying your own backyard.
Did you know?
A mosquito can breed in as little as a bottle cap of standing water, and a house fly can transfer bacteria to food within seconds of landing. Small sources, big consequences.
The breeding sites hiding in plain sight

Blocked gutters holding water

Pot plant saucers

Bird baths and ponds

Uncovered bins and compost

Drains and grease traps

Dense, damp garden beds
Spotting any of these? Call 1300 737 800 — or fix what you can and we'll handle the rest.
How we cut fly and mosquito numbers
Find the source, treat the resting spots, protect the areas you actually use.

Breeding site audit
We walk the property finding every nursery — standing water, waste areas, drains and gutters — and tell you which ones to eliminate and which we'll treat.
Treat resting surfaces
Mosquitoes and flies rest on foliage, fences, walls and eaves between flights. Treating those surfaces knocks the adult population down and keeps working between visits.
Target the wet spots
Drains, water features and unavoidable damp areas treated so they stop functioning as nurseries — without harming the garden.
Protect the entertaining areas
Pergolas, decks and outdoor dining zones get focused attention, so the spaces you use most are the most comfortable.

Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to treat for mosquitoes?
Before and during the warm months — treating early in the season stops populations before they peak. If you're planning an outdoor event or you're mid-summer and under siege, treatment still cuts numbers noticeably within days.
Will this affect bees and the rest of my garden?
We use eco-friendly products applied to resting surfaces and breeding sites — not blanket-sprayed over flowering plants where bees feed. Tell us about beehives, ponds or vegetable gardens when you book and we'll plan around them.
How long does a treatment last?
Outdoor fly and mosquito treatments typically keep working for weeks, with the exact duration depending on weather and the season. Homes near bushland, canals or wetlands often book a couple of treatments across summer.
The flies seem to come from my drains — is that possible?
Very — drain flies and fruit flies breed in the organic film inside drains and grease traps. It's a different treatment from garden flies, and inspecting the drains is part of how we work out which problem you've actually got.
