Who we are

Pesthelp Pest Control Services (ABN 12 215 130 835) provides pest control services across Sydney and the Northern Rivers, NSW. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you contact us, request a quote or book online — by phone, form or email — we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, suburb or property address, information about your pest problem, and, for online bookings, the service, property size and day you choose.

When you browse this website, standard technical information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us (for example, via a Google search or advertisement).

How we use your information

We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, schedule and perform services, send service documentation (such as treatment records or receipts), and follow up on work we've done.

We use website analytics and advertising data to understand how people find us and to improve our website and advertising. This includes Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, operated through Google Tag Manager.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers described below.

Cookies and advertising

This website uses cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. If you arrived via a Google advertisement, a cookie may record that your enquiry resulted from that ad. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

We may show Pesthelp ads to people who have visited our website before, on Google Search, YouTube and other sites in Google's network (this is called remarketing). These ads don't use your name or contact details. You can turn off personalised ads at myadcenter.google.com.

If you came from a Google ad, the phone number on our website may be a Google forwarding number. Your call still comes straight to us. Google tells us only that a call happened, how long it lasted, the caller's area code and which ad it came from.

If you send an enquiry or booking after clicking one of our Google ads, your email address or phone number may be shared with Google in a scrambled, one-way form. Google uses it only to confirm the ad led to your enquiry; it never sees the readable details.

Who we share it with

Limited service providers help us operate: our website hosting provider; our email delivery provider (which transmits enquiry and booking submissions to us and sends your booking confirmation); our database provider (which stores our private record of enquiries in Sydney); Cloudflare (which checks form submissions for spam); Google Maps (which suggests matching addresses as you type your address into our booking form); and Google (analytics, advertising measurement and remarketing, as above). Each receives only what is needed to perform its function.

We may disclose information where required by law.

Storage and security

Enquiry and booking details are delivered to our business email and kept in a private, login-protected record of enquiries that only our team can access, stored in Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above and our record-keeping obligations.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no obligation to retain it. To do so — or to raise any privacy concern — contact us using the details below.
