A guest claims they were bitten — how do I know if it's really bed bugs?
Don't rely on the bite photos — inspect the room. Blood spotting, dark marks on seams and shed skins confirm it. If you're unsure, we can inspect and give you a straight answer either way, which also matters for responding to the review.
Should I throw out the mattress?
Usually no — the bugs also live in the frame, headboard and skirtings, so replacing the mattress alone just re-homes them. Treat first; if anything genuinely needs disposal, your technician will say so honestly.
How soon can the bed be used again?
Typically the same night once treated areas are dry — your technician will confirm for your treatment. Keep sleeping in the room; abandoning it just draws the bugs toward wherever you move.
