Know the enemy
The hitchhiker that moves in for good
Bed bugs don't come from dirty homes — they hitchhike in on luggage, second-hand furniture and even clothing, then set up within a metre or two of where you sleep. By day they're wafer-thin and tucked into mattress seams, bed frames, skirting gaps and behind headboards. By night, they feed.
They're also one of the hardest pests to beat with DIY methods: they hide where sprays don't reach, their eggs resist most over-the-counter products, and missing even a few means the infestation rebuilds within weeks. Professional treatment is genuinely the only reliable way out.
Did you know?
Bed bugs can survive for months without feeding. That's why 'leaving the room empty for a while' doesn't work — they simply wait.

How we eliminate bed bugs
Success is about thoroughness — every harbourage within reach of the bed, treated methodically.

Detailed inspection
Mattress seams, bed base, frame joints, headboard, skirtings, carpet edges and nearby furniture — we map exactly how far the infestation has spread, which decides the treatment.
Targeted treatment of every harbourage
Professional products applied into the seams, joints, cracks and voids where bed bugs and their eggs actually are — not a quick spray over the mattress.
Your part, made simple
We give you a short, clear preparation and laundry checklist — hot-washing bedding and a few other steps that make the treatment stick.
Follow-up
Bed bug jobs get honest follow-through: heavier infestations often need a second visit to catch late hatchers, and we'll tell you upfront if yours will.

Frequently asked questions
Do bed bugs mean my home is dirty?
No — bed bugs follow people, not mess. They're picked up from travel, accommodation, public transport and second-hand furniture, and five-star hotels get them too. There's no shame in it; there's only treating it properly.
Can I just throw out the mattress?
Usually unnecessary, and often a mistake — bed bugs also live in the frame, headboard, skirtings and carpet edges, so a new mattress just gives them fresh territory. Treat first; your technician will tell you honestly if anything genuinely needs to go.
How should I prepare for the treatment?
We'll send you a short checklist when you book — typically hot-washing and bagging bedding, clearing under the bed, and a quick vacuum. It takes most people under an hour and makes a real difference to results.
How soon can I sleep in the bed again?
In most cases the same night, once treated areas have dried — your technician will confirm timing for your specific treatment. You should keep sleeping in the room; moving to the couch just teaches the bugs to follow you there.
