Know the enemy
Small animal, big damage
Rats and mice do far more than raid the pantry. They gnaw electrical wiring — a genuine fire risk — chew through insulation and ducting, and contaminate benches and stored food with droppings and urine. And because they breed quickly, the pair you hear tonight is a family by next month.
Supermarket baits often fail because rodents are wary of anything new and quickly learn to avoid poorly placed traps. Professional rodent control works differently: we find how they're getting in, hit the runways they actually use, and then close the doors behind them.
Did you know?
A rat's front teeth never stop growing, so they gnaw constantly to wear them down — wood, plastic, even electrical cable. That's why rodents in the roof are a fire-safety issue, not just a noise problem.

How we clear rats and mice
Baiting alone treats the symptom. Our job is the population and the entry points.

Inspection and entry-point mapping
We find the runways, nesting sites and the gaps they're using to get in — roof lines, vents, pipe penetrations and garage doors are the usual suspects.
Secured baiting and trapping
Professional bait stations placed on the runways rodents actually use — locked, tamper-resistant and positioned away from kids and pets.
Proofing advice
Killing the current population without closing the entry points is a subscription to rodents. We show you exactly what to seal so the next family stays outside.
Follow-up
For established infestations we monitor and rebait until activity stops — and tell you honestly when it has.

Frequently asked questions
Rats or mice — does it matter which I have?
Yes — they behave differently and are treated differently. Rats are cautious and travel established runways; mice are curious and nest closer to food. Droppings, gnaw marks and noise patterns tell us which you're dealing with, and that shapes the whole treatment plan.
Are the baits safe for my pets?
We use locked, tamper-resistant bait stations positioned where pets and kids can't reach — and our technician will walk you through every placement before leaving. If you have particular concerns, tell us when you book and we can lean on trapping instead.
How long until the noises stop?
Most customers notice a sharp drop in activity within one to two weeks as the baiting takes effect. Heavier infestations can take longer and may need a follow-up visit — we'll set honest expectations after the inspection.
Why do rodents keep coming back every winter?
Because the entry points are still open. When it cools down, your warm roof void beats a cold garden every time. That's why our treatment always ends with proofing advice — sealing the gaps is what breaks the yearly cycle.
