Pre-Construction Termite Treatments Sydney
The best time to protect a home from termites is before it exists. Built-in protection at slab stage costs a fraction of retrofitting it later.

Know the enemy
Termite protection belongs in the build, not the repair bill
New homes in Australia are required to include a termite management system — and for good reason. A new slab surrounded by disturbed soil and fresh timber is prime termite real estate, and protection installed during construction reaches places that can never be treated properly once the build is finished.
We work in with builders and owner-builders across Sydney: treating at the right construction stages, staying off the critical path, and providing the certification your certifier and future buyers will ask for. Get it right now, and the home starts life protected instead of exposed.
Did you know?
Australian building standards require termite management for new homes — and protection installed at construction stage covers slab edges, penetrations and soil zones that are physically impossible to treat properly after the build is complete.

How pre-construction protection works
Timed to your build stages, documented for your certifier.

Plan around your build
We work from your slab and construction schedule so treatments land at the right stages — penetrations and slab perimeter first, external zones once landscaping levels are set.
Treat penetrations and slab perimeter
Service penetrations and the slab edge are termites' favourite highways into a finished home. Treating them before and during the pour closes the routes for good.
Perimeter protection at completion
Once final ground levels are established, the external treated zone or reticulation system goes in — completing the protection envelope around the finished home.
Certification and records
You receive the documentation your certifier requires and a durable record of the system installed — which also becomes a selling point when the home changes hands.

Frequently asked questions
Is pre-construction termite treatment mandatory?
New residential construction in NSW must include a termite management system to meet the building code, and your certifier will ask for evidence of it. We provide the treatment and the certification paperwork as part of the job.
At what stage of the build do you need to come in?
Typically twice or more: at slab stage for penetrations and perimeter, and at completion for the external zone once ground levels are final. Send us your construction timeline and we'll map our visits to it — we're used to working around trades.
Do you work with owner-builders?
Yes — and we'll explain each stage in plain terms so you know exactly what's being installed, when, and what your certifier will want to see.
What about extensions — the house already exists?
Extensions create the same risk as new builds: disturbed soil and new slab edges against an existing structure. We treat the new work and tie its protection into the existing home's, so the extension doesn't become the weak point.
